Introduction:

Congratulations for using NTrack, the most advanced AVLS (Automatic Vehicle Location and Security) software available in the market. This software has many features like ability to track the moving asset in real time, be able to control it and many more as you shall see in this document.

There are two types of users:

- Group User (Corporate user)

- Individual User

How to learn your Vehicle Location and other information’s?

There are three way to learn your vehicle information

1. Web based (Internet + Computer)

2. SMS Based

3. Call Center (Support Center)

Web based System:

At first open your computer then Browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera) and type “http://sun.nits.com.bd/ntrack” to the address bar and press enter.

Put the user name into the “user name” Box and put “password” into the password Box. Next page you will find your vehicle information.

Group User

As you login as group head you see the screen similar to one shown below (Figure 2):

In this screen you see the positions of the different vehicles and list of all the vehicles in the table on the left. You can zoom in or zoom out using the ruler on the top left of the map. You can also select between Map, Satellite, Hybrid, Earth, Terrain views. If you place your mouse cursor over any of the vehicle icon you will get current information of that vehicle which includes the vehicle registration number, Driver Mobile number, Current Speed of the vehicle in km/h, Date, Time and in the second tab you get the current location of the vehicle in form of its latitude and longitude (See Figure 3). As the vehicles move the locations of the vehicle icons that you see on the map update their positions automatically

Real Time Tracking

To track a vehicle in real time, click “Show” on the vehicle from the list on the left. A new window will open (see Figure 4) which will show you the track of the vehicle. This gets updated automatically as the vehicle moves. The icon of the vehicle is different when it is moving (sow as Green), when it is stationary but ignition ON (show as Yellow) and when it is stationary but ignition off (show as Red) so by just

Looking at the icon you can make out whether the vehicle is moving or not. By looking at the track of the vehicle you can see which all places the vehicle had stopped.

Change Password

This option allows you to change your login password. 

Utility Management:

This option allows you to manage under your supervisor, end user activity. Also able to manage both Vehicle and Personal Tracker and assign tracker to the specific person. 

Geofence Management

A Geo-fence is a virtual boundary on a geographic area. When that boundary is entered or exited it can be recognized as an event and the user can be notified of that event. The notification will tell the user which vehicle has entered/left the area and where it is at that point and time. This event information can be sent to a mobile telephone as well as to an email account, allowing management by exception.

Individual User

As you login as individual user you see the screen.

This gets updated automatically as the vehicle moves. The icon of the vehicle is different when it is moving (sow as Green), when it is stationary but ignition ON (show as Yellow) and when it is stationary but ignition Off (show as Red) so by just looking at the icon you can make out whether the vehicle is moving or not. By looking at the track of the vehicle you can see which all places the vehicle had stopped.

History View:

This report provides clear history movement of the specific vehicle in specific period in graphical interface.

Reports

This section provides many kinds of reports.

Current Fleet Report

This report gives a snapshot of the entire fleet at the given moment (See Figure 11). It gives the vehicle registration number, date and time of last update, vehicle status (whether stationary or moving), its location with respect to a nearby known place and the speed at the current time and Engine Status. This report is useful for the management to know at a glance where their entire fleet is at the moment.

Moreover, you can filter some additional function like if you want to see only moving vehicles just choose “Moving” from Select Status Menu.

Distance Travelled

This report gives distance travelled in kms for the selected vehicle on a daily basis between the selected period as well as cumulative distance travelled in the selected period.

 Trip Report

This report gives details of all the places visited by the vehicle in a 24 hour period or any selective period at 5/10/20/30 minute intervals. The information available is Vehicle Registration number, Date/time, latitude, longitude, location, speed and Engine status at every 5/10/20/30 min intervals. This report would be useful in knowing the complete trip details in a 24 hr or particular period.

Halt Analysis Report:

This report gives details of the total travel time, total stop time and the no. of halts taken by a particular vehicle in a given period. In addition Halt time 10/30/60 min interval also available for more specific report. 

Consolidated Report

This report gives snapshot of the travel details of a particular vehicle in a given period of time. The information includes date wise - Vehicle Registration Number Date, Travel Time (Hrs), Stop Time (Hrs), Distance (Kms), Total Stops, Avg. Stop Length, Max Speed (km/hr), Avg. Speed (km/hr). 

Speed Analysis Report:

Speed Analysis report gives details of the maximum speed with location and average speed in km/hr achieved by a vehicle in a given period. Also able to find the vehicles which run over the selective speed like above 60km/hr. This information can be used to see which driver(s) are over speeding and necessary corrective action be taken.

Over speeding Report

As the vehicle over speeds you get the details of the places where all drivers has done over speeding, along with speed, date & time and location till the over speeding happened. This can help management take action against erring drivers.

Alerts Generated

This report gives details on alerts generated in a particular vehicle in a particular period of time.

Fuel Consumption Report

This report gives a snapshot of the entire fleet fuel consumption of particular vehicles for a particular date. The information displayed includes Vehicle Registration Number, Date, Fuel Consumption (Liters), Distance (Kms), Travel Time (Hrs), Stop Time (Hrs), Max Speed (km/hr), Avg. Speed (km/hr).

Special Function:

Panic Button / Emergency Button:

For any emergency or danger cases, driver can send message to the vehicle owner by pressing Panic/Emergency Button.

SMS Based System

An authorized user can get current vehicle information by sending SMS Push-Poll services.

To know Current Location:

Go Message Option and type SUN then type Vehicle ID then type Password and send it to 2777.

For example

A reply message will come your mobile as follows:

Location = 0.017 km from Nitol Center, Mohakhali, Dhaka.; Speed = 0; Status = Stop; Time = 10:09:18

To Block/Unblock Vehicle Engine by SMS:

An authorized user can block and unblock his vehicle engine by himself by sending SMS. Please contact with support department to know the procedure.

Call Center

We can provide you with the ability to Track, Monitor and Control your vehicle through our 24/7 Call Center.

Moreover, we will deliver important message to the vehicle owner time to time or any crisis moment. Also we have good information resource system which helps you by giving meaningful information in emergency cases. For example, Police station contact numbers, Hospital contact numbers, Fire Service contact numbers etc.
